I played with the freedom of color and palette knife yesterday. :)

It took me a while to give it a title, but then I saw the little yellow star and so its name. 

This is how I started painting my "Spirit Art" paintings years ago - just whatever colors caught my attention and how I let my brush take over. I would look at the finished work and when I saw the spirit of its essence I gave it a title. It may be how I want to paint again - no pressure...no worries about pleasing anyone...and it's fun! :) 

"Sunshine Wind"

 I have been writing and painting most of my life. I have had this idea for a long time and finally started yesterday painting using symbols from my poetry, lyrics, journal writings, etc. I used symbols from, "Sunshine Wind," a few lines here:

"My heart lies on a rainbow

Above a river of gold,

Leading to a place behind the sun

Where young never turns old."

Getting people to look at my websites is difficult, so I gave up and now the art strings are tugging at me again and so I am starting to paint anew.

I wrote messages from my paintings' spiritual essence as I have practiced "free-flowing writing" for decades! Click on any painting under "Spirit Art" and its written message will appear for your reading pleasure.

I had art and gift shops for years but live in the wrong place for sales.  Now I'm at home and do not sit behind tables at fairs...too bad people have to drag their wares around and "go to the people" because they don't come to you!  
However, I have started painting stones and have a shelf in a local store and art gallery where people can purchase.
